Mythic Battles Pantheon Minotaur

Hi there. Back from space, I was focused on some personal deadlines. Anyway, I hope to go back to my brushes very soon.

I really like the bestiality emanating from this miniature. The stance is quite simple, but the back curvature projects the minotaur forward. The human skull in the right hand gives the scale of the monster. I chose a really deep reddish brown taint for the skin, but apart from the usual lights, I also used a dark blue for the veins and my beloved Nihilakh Oxyde to paint the labyrinth symbol on the heart of the Minotaur, in order to give him some contrast. I think this small feature links the monster to his legendary home with some magic bond. It tells a story about the minotaur, probably a tragic one. Still, his face looks ferocious and I used a really light brown and white to keep the focus on it.

J'aime beaucoup la bestialité émanant de cette figurine. La pose est vraiment simple, mais la courbure du dos projette le minotaue en avant. Le crâne humain dans sa main droite donne l'échelle du monstre. J'ai choisi a marron rouge très profond pour la peau, mais au-delà des lumières habituelles, j'ai aussi utilisé un bleu sombre pour les veines et mon cher Nihilakh Oxyde pour le symbole de labyrinthe sur le coeur du minotaure, pour donner du contraste. Je trouve que ce petit détail lie le monstre à son repaire légendaire avec un lien magique. Ce symbole raconte une histoire, probablement tragique. Sa face est féroce et j'ai utilisé un marron très clair et du blanc pour garder le focus dessus.
