ASSASSIN

This miniature comes from Confrontation, the game.

It was a great pleasure to paint this. I like miniatures with fine details.

So, I spent a lot of time to paint the cape. I decided to use brown, to figure a simple leather that I enlightened with orange and yellow. I did a shade with a mix of brown and black that I put in the folds.

I made NMM on the armor, and I put a blue glaze to increase cold feeling with this metal, and increase the contrast with the hot colors on the cape and clothes.

Then I wanted to paint clothes with dark red. I enlightened the red with orange to harmonize clothes with the cape.

The base is very simple : I cut a circle piece of cork, and I painted with grey and white to obtain paving appearance. I wanted a color contrast with this miniature.

Ce fut un grand plaisir de la peindre. J’aime les figurines avec de fins détails.

J’ai passé beaucoup de temps à peindre la cape. J’ai décidé d’utiliser du marron, figurant un cuir simple, que j’ai éclairci avec de l’orange et du jaune. J’ai fait un lavis avec un mélange de marron et de noir que j’ai posé dans les creux.

J’ai fait l’armure en NMM, and j’ai posé un glacis bleu pour augmenter l’effet de froid du métal, et donc augmenter le contraste avec les couleurs chaudes de la cape et des vêtements.

Puis j’ai voulu peindre les habits en rouge sombre. J’ai éclairci le rouge avec de l’orange pour harmoniser les vêtements avec la cape.

Le socle est très simple : j’ai coupé du liège rond, et je l’ai peint avec du gris et du blanc pour obtenir un dallage. J’ai voulu un contraste de couleur avec la figurine.
